These new sizes seemed to work ok, but you can pick whatever you want. I don't know cPanel though, but it probably has some area to change your php.ini file.
I had the same issue/error when I first started using a dedicated server.
Sorry I even didn't know I have repeated my answer 4 times :)))) I will be more careful in the next times :))))
You are correct, if you put the images on S3 and turn off the setting "keep files in server", then the images will be viewed on S3 link but could not displayed on the server link.
I followed your advise above and was pretty close to achieve what I really want. Additional advantage of described approach is that the Time line album can't be deleted. That's a feature I like. But I faced a problem that a new photo to the Time line album can be added only from the feed, I can't do it from the album directly. Is there any way how to fix it? Is it possible to add a photo to the Time line album right from it itself?
I went into my cpanel, I looked for multi PHP editor. I went into the edit mode, then selected my site. You will be presented with a list of standard uploading parameters which you can change. I recommend using the ones shown in the attached link. I basically increased upload to 10MB but you have to increase execution time etc toa avoid timing out. I would recommend this site be kept in your favourites for future use.
It only happens when I import certain images from my iphone, guess I could look for a default naming option there, although that doesnt fix the issue. Thanks for the responses!
I couldn't find wherein the information provided that it stated that. I apologize for any additional unneeded time to answer the question as I am new to this software. Thank you for the response, and now I know that they are deleted completely. I didn't want photos sitting on the server that had been deleted already.
Well, to add to this mystery, I considered that maybe I had saved some of the images in Photoshop at different resolutions. In other words, 72 dpi for some, and 300 dpi for others. I considered that maybe that was the source of the problem. However, I just opened the last good one that posted on my page, and the first bad one that posted on my page. As I mentioned earlier, they are basically clones of each other. In fact, all 81 graphics for that page are clones of each other. they have the same size in pixels, the same resolution, the same basic elements. There is nothing substantially different between any of them, other than the actual text content.
And here is the real kicker. I just went to my own profile page, and I posted ten of the very same images as a test. All 10 of the images posted without a single problem.
As I mentioned earlier, I even deleted that entire page and started from scratch; and yet the problem still occurs. I have also rebuilt the theme, cleared the cache, used a few of those other cleaning options in the AdminCP, cleared Firefox's history and cache, and even shut down my web server and rebooted the entire machine. Yet still, this weirdness persists, and phpFox insists on blowing up certain images so that they don't fit in the page frame, and look blurry.
I am totally lost regarding how to fix this issue.
I am using plesk and in the beginning I had issues as well. I found out it was my server, which was set up max upload file of 2mb, so I increased it to 8mb.
Thank you, Rich. Google Adsense needs that set to "Yes" in order to work. But I'm not serving ads yet so changing that to "No" does fix the problem. 4.8.5 was recently released so I had expected this photo navigation problem to have been fixed. But it wasn't.
Thank you for the workaround!
Im with ya! It should have been fixed i wrote it up to support in october.
