phpFoX Troubleshooting and Problems
Mandrill certainly is a good solution for transactional emails.

If using your local mail server, an "email flood" will get your IP blacklisted again with certain providers.

If using a 3rd party SMTP solution, an "email flood" can become quite costly if not stopped in time and lead to exclusion from the particular service.

To avoid this one step is to make sure your site does not send too many emails initiated by spam registrations.

Oops!! Totally didn't catch the version there!! Permissions link should be mostly ok, it should at least give you an idea...I don't know much about versions before 2.0 so I don't know the file structure on 1.6.x

Not sure about the debug script unfortunately, I don't know if that will debug the site or not...hopefully someone more familiar with 1.6.x can jump in now that Data moved to the correct forum Smile

Thanks! I'll give that a try for the next page that I need to locate. I was able to find this page using a program to search inside files for file names. The page had the correct name but it was not located in the folder listed at phpFox support.

Search the forum by Post as that brings up more results and see if perhaps someone else had the same issue. It's hard when using legacy, unsupported versions because not a lot of members are using it and you have to rely on them coming to the forum and seeing your thread.

Now I just need to get the music back.

So how did you change all admins from 11 back to 0? As normal? Or did you have to do anything more complex? Like, you didn't acknowledge who helped you solve the problem.

I found the remedy after checking around the tables. Go to your phpmyadmin, phpfox_user, look under user_group_id and you will see all administrators are numbered as 1. And registered users are numbered 2. If any members numbers are different than 2, well than change it back to 2. And that user will be back online.
