This is nicely done. I have it installed in my localhost. So far, the redesign of phpfox looks more user friendly and extremely well done. It would be nice if the profile section would be still similar to myspace or even better.

The most appealing part of the phpfox would be profile section and rest comes next and without that users will just get bored and move on to better places.

Late last year facebook added option to allow users to put their friends into groups. So a user can specify which group of friends sees what.
That makes sense, letting close friends see all the feeds and other not so close friends only allow them to see less personal information.

Something like this in PHPFox would be great.

Anyone who purchased before the 7th of November 2008 got a 1 year Support & Upgrade contract. So for yourself and those that purchased before that date will be able to download phpFox2 once its stable and any updates released a few months after that. Your contract will end November 7, 2009. It is $49.95 to purchase another 6 months of Support/Upgrade.

May I step back and ask a stoopid question?

What happened to all the discussion about marketplace in that development cycle that went on a while back? Are there any changes at all to marketplace in 205dev? I feel like I have't flipped a switch somewhere, it all looks the same to me.

I can post a marketplace listing, set a price, upload an image etc. Cool.

But when I want to buy it, what do I do ...?
Looks like I just send an email to the seller and we arrange details privately? Is that right?

There is now a way to sell directly with v2.0.5. I have been doing testing on my dev site with the new v2.0.5dev1 release. I actually started a new thread here as it relates to v2.0.5 marketplace. Just read through a provide your feedback.

Seems that phpFox and MAMP/MAMP PRO don't like each other. There were some ajax issues while site was developed in MAMP environment. Now I've reinstalled it using XAMPP for Mac and now it works fine.
