ah so there is something then, i just missed it. Personally i am not that interrested at the moment, not until all mods have been ported but thought it might help others that are :D
Yeah we definitely want to add some optional restrictions when it comes to editing, either not allowing a user group to edit items or add a limit on how long they can edit an item.
Late last year facebook added option to allow users to put their friends into groups. So a user can specify which group of friends sees what. That makes sense, letting close friends see all the feeds and other not so close friends only allow them to see less personal information.
This is nicely done. I have it installed in my localhost. So far, the redesign of phpfox looks more user friendly and extremely well done. It would be nice if the profile section would be still similar to myspace or even better.
The most appealing part of the phpfox would be profile section and rest comes next and without that users will just get bored and move on to better places.
HeHeHE :D Cool! yeap its pretty cool version 2, we will be updating our blog at the end of the week just so you guys can measure how we're doing hehe :o)

Create a new module by going to:
Admin Panel > Extensions > Module > Create New Module
The following is an example if I had a page called testing, obviously change the words "testing" to the name of your page to make it easier for yourself.
Product: phpFox
Module ID: testing
Add To Menu: No
Language Info: Testing
Then either create a new menu or edit the one you already created and select this new module in the module option.
Then add an image here:
theme\frontend\default\style\default\image\module\ testing.png
It would be best to keep the icon size the same size as the others (16x16px), you can use the fam fam icons.
Zero7 I copied your instrutions so it would be altogether thanks
Now who knows how to make it so that i can make the pages chang like an ad i have the site setup so that when members log in they are taken to this page but i don't want it to be static i want it to change to veryus full page ads each time they login so it will always be a different page with new ads
Aitoc have never stated which of their mods will be ported to V2. If we look at the usergroups permission and subscription system in V2 already, I dont really see a need for Aitoc to spend months recoding this mod as this element is robust enough in V2. A better strategy for them might be to take the e-commerce element from this mod and improve on that for V2.
And maybe if phpfox cant get CCBill included by stable they can port this payment gateway class over.
And no they don't need to stop selling it there are still alot of people using 1.6. Maybe you need to research what's already in V2 a bit better before making statements like this!
