Customization Requests

That is not the same as apologizing for publicly stating that another member of this community said something
"absolutely false"...

Now you claim you did not know this was going to happen - maybe there are a lot of things you do not know - so perhaps you should be more cautious about contradicting other people so forcefully and inappropriately.

One of the best things about *completing* a college degree is discovering the truth about how much you really do not know.

There are those, of course, who think they know everything they need to know while still an undergrad..."pretentious" comes to mind, among some other terms which Data66 would likely censor.

With only 38 posts - versus 258 for somebody known as "Foxguy" for a reason - perhaps discretion should be the better part of valor before calling somebody out like that.

For that matter, the cron job can be set to run at 11:59 December 31 every year.
Very good solution, wolf, thanks.

For a marginal performance improvement in the template solution, replace date('Y') with date ('Y,PHPFOX_TIME).

We also found a working place for a hook request, which would eliminate further discussion when another setting wants to be twiddled.

Making a feature request is also a valid solution. I notice "bug it" is the new "post a bug report", so perhaps it's time to say "f it" to this one.

You explain very well t3ln3t, are very plausible explanations.

I will try today to make this change in my config file and test with my hosting the load that uses ffmpeg for uploading and converting video.

I think a very cool theme to continue talking.

I deleted TinyMCE from all of my sites for security reasons . I use basic editor and have a tutorial on my sites for how to use an attachment in areas of the site.

1. I go to create a message and upload an attachment to that and click Use Inline. I then copy the attachment code from that.
2. I put the attachment code in whatever I am making such as a marketplace listing to embed it in the description.

Might not be convenient but it works. you can see an example there of using that method in a listing.

ha. Strangely, the globe changes shape daily (tides Wink
So, potentially stupid question: how/where do I enable feed check in ?

Also... for my purposes, people will likely not use that feature.
So, I'm struggling to determine the best way to deal with my requirement.
Asking people to enter their "city name" won't work since they might enter the name of a burrough or suburb.
