I don't know why either. It could be that Facebook had it like that before and maybe we had a feature request to "make it like Facebook". I would like the ability to edit it too. I tend to also make mistakes and it's nice to edit just in case the fingers make a big mess.

For that matter, the cron job can be set to run at 11:59 December 31 every year.
Very good solution, wolf, thanks.

For a marginal performance improvement in the template solution, replace date('Y') with date ('Y,PHPFOX_TIME).

We also found a working place for a hook request, which would eliminate further discussion when another setting wants to be twiddled.

Making a feature request is also a valid solution. I notice "bug it" is the new "post a bug report", so perhaps it's time to say "f it" to this one.

Yes but do you have multi-server? Are you using those cache settings? If so, if the site is not working well, turn them off and see how it works after clearing cache. If it works fine, you know one or more of those settings do not work for your configuration.

Create a php file named : core.component_controller_index_member_start.php

with this code
Quote:
<?

/* core.component_controller_index_member_start */

return Phpfox::getLib('module')->setController('abstractbusiness.main.index');

?>

and put the php file in the directory /module/abstractbusiness/include/plugin/
to make Brian Business Mod your index page.

Since the add on is added, presales can be asked in their discussion per our rules. FYI, I have purchased it and see no reason not to for those having an issue to purchase it again at such a low price. This is a new arcade with a new cool layout. It's even got instant ajax search. I love it. The cost is very low even for me and I'm not rich at all. I will close this thread as the forum is not for add on discussions. http://awesomescreenshot.com/0d52phmn14 this is it on my site.

You explain very well t3ln3t, are very plausible explanations.

I will try today to make this change in my config file and test with my hosting the load that uses ffmpeg for uploading and converting video.

I think a very cool theme to continue talking.

I asked my server host about the OpenSSL exploit and this is the response I received:

Hello Kirk,

I'm happy to say there's nothing you need to do. :) We actually became aware of this vulnerability the day it was announced around the first week of April, and had all of our servers patched within a week. I have personally checked your server and everything is patched and up to date. So, no worries there. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or concerns though.
