What I end up doing was not only removing the menus but also going into the code hiding the add button...but also going into the code wrapping URL statements for for Admin only ADD since anyone can just put "add" at the end of the URL and then they are able to add anything they have rights to do in Pages in Groups...what a pain that was...as well as upgrading and adding new apps will be a nightmare now.

Thank you for the reply! Yes, my site is entirely SSL configured. I think I may have been impatient and not allowing Google enought time to update my APIs... I tested this morning and everything is working fine now.

I can't believe this cannot be configured by the admin for this behavior :)

Users don't want everything they do to show up on the social network wall (liking page, changing their photo profile, adding another friend...)

Please take this into account for the next updat.
