One of my admins can't verify users via admincp. Checked permission and he is allowed to "edit users". What permission need to set for him to be able to verify accounts?

I had this issue as I wanted 'Staff' users to be able to do this without having to make them full admins. I haven't found a setting in any user group so am led to believe its a inaccessible default for admins only.

Have you tried clearing the cache? That seems to be the golden rule to try first.

Try these in user group settings for User and I believe #2 would be the one.

Can edit a users account?

Allow members of this user group to verify other's email address from the AdminCP -> Users -> Browse Users ?

Can modify a users "user group" status?

I was getting myself confused on this one, I was thinking of the ability for a 'Staff' member to be able to Approve a new user not Verify. Sorry!

But the settings mentioned by Data66 will come in useful Smile
