Hi,

Video is being processed but the video never shows up. How to fix this problem?

i'm using latest version 3.7.6 and arvixe hosting.

Thanks.
Did you enabled the HTML5 feature? In this case, please check the parameter for converting to the formats mp4, oog and webm, in the file include/setting/video.default.php
Hi,

I enable HTML5 feature and still the video never shows up. here is video.default.php :

$_CONF['video.upload_for_html5'] = true;
$_CONF['video.video_array_support'] = array(

'mpeg' => 'video/mpeg',
'wmv' => 'video/x-ms-wmv',
'avi' => 'video/avi',
'mov' => 'video/quicktime',
'flv' => 'video/x-flv',
'mp4' => 'video/mp4',
'mov' => 'video/quicktime',
'flv' => 'video/x-flv',
'wmv' => 'video/x-ms-wmv',

);

$_CONF['video.covert_mp4_exec'] = array(
'/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -i {SOURCE} -vcodec libx264 {DESTINATION}'
);

$_CONF['video.covert_webm_exec'] = array(
'/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -i {SOURCE} -vcodec libvpx -acodec libvorbis -f webm {DESTINATION}'
);

$_CONF['video.covert_ogg_exec'] = array(
'/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -i {SOURCE} -vcodec libtheora -acodec libvorbis {DESTINATION}'
);

$_CONF['video.covert_mp4_image'] = array(
'/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg -ss 0.5 -i {SOURCE} -t 1 -s 480x300 {DESTINATION}'
);

$_CONF['video.convert_servers_enable'] = false;
$_CONF['video.convert_js_parent'] = '';
$_CONF['video.convert_servers'] = array(
''
);
$_CONF['video.convert_servers_secret'] = '';

?>

are these setting ok?

thanks.
I though you had the HTML5 feature enabled since the beginning.

If you prefer, you can disable it while we check your video issue, as it seems this feature is not related to your issue.

Also, I can't know if these parameters are correct for your server. I just can say those are the default parameters, but for example, for my server the path for ffmpeg is:

/usr/bin/ffmpeg

and not:

/usr/local/bin/ffmpeg

Back to your issue, please enable debug mode:

* http://www.phpfox.com/kb/article/138/enabling-debug-mode/

and with Firebug, please check if there is any error message:

Hi,

i just find out this my theme problem, i will contact theme developer to fix it.

thanks.
my theme developer reply me > it is not related to the theme so you might want to have someone look further into it.

i test in my development site (3.7.5 build 3) everything work fine.

is this bug?
update > i think my theme developer already fixed this problem. now im able upload video but i find out another problem:

enable htlm5 - .mpg not working properly ( no thumb image,video player button not working ) /file/video/2014/04 show the video file type is mp4 and file size is 0.

turn off html5 - .mpg work fine.

It is working for others so perhaps your server is not updated for ffmpeg and mencoder and all that they require to operate well. Also you need to follow the tutorial in the knowledgebase for enabling this and I did link it in the bug report you made.
Hi,

where should i upload these file?
Donna(data66)
Your server support would do that for you. I don't do server stuff. Do you have managed servers or do you have to do it yourself?
i use share hosting, i will contact arvixe support.

thanks.
arvixe support:

Here is the version information. It is the stable release from CentOS 5.

FFmpeg 0.6.5 libavutil 50.15. 1 / 50.15. 1 libavcodec 52.72. 2 / 52.72. 2 libavformat 52.64. 2 / 52.64. 2 libavdevice 52. 2. 0 / 52. 2. 0 libavfilter 1.19. 0 / 1.19. 0 libswscale 0.11. 0 / 0.11. 0 libpostproc 51. 2. 0 / 51. 2. 0

I got this using the path specified in your phpfox configuration, so we know the path is correct.
