To clarify, as for the scope of the paid subscription based support:
does this support apply both for issues encountered during normal use that cannot be remedied in the user help forum and core customization/hack requests? Or just normal use issues (the equivalent of a product extended warranty)?

Thanks, I missed that link. The existing Github site will still be retained as the bug report/tracker correct?

It is now. We would announce if we were changing the issue tracker. I have asked as it is harder to maintain on github but so far, the rest of the managers want it there.
