Change users URL to profile

Is there anyway a user can change the URL to their profile? At the moment members that signup via facebook have a user url similar to: http://www.yoursite.com/fb-fb generated user number/

I want users to be able to change that to something like: http://yoursite.com/username

I have checked the forums and the apps section, I know this was able to be done in previous versions, why not 4.6.0? Or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Hi Brendan,

Please help us to check the user group setting Can change own user name? If you enable it, users can update their username from profile-xx to whatever they want (of course that it must match the requirement "alphabet and underscore characters only").

Yes, that setting is set to yes. But still changing their username (Full Name) does not change the address to their profile the only field that relates to name is Full Name:.

On the profile instead of having username field it has Email. This member signed up with FB and Username is not w field they use. So maybe it's something to do with Facebook Connect?

Other members can change their Username thus changing the link, but those using FB connect are un able to.

Hi Brendan,

Can you give us more detail information for the case "Facebook users" because we cannot reproduce it. On our testing sites, Facebook users can change username normally.
