Events Not Showing

Hi, I have recently installed phpfox 4 and have been setting up the events function, I'm having an issue with all of the events created from any profile showing in any page apart from the profile that listed them ( my events), I have checked permissions in the events app but still not showing, help would be gratefully appreciated as I cannot list the new site until this is resolved
