Rune

I have yet to buy an app without bug. So I've always had to contact the app developer for support. The app developer always asks for access to AdminCP and FTP access when providing support. Can we trust the app developer?

What is the danger with this?

- Unauthorized persons can download the entire membership database directly from AdminCp and steal it. We have no guarantee for this!
- Unauthorized persons can place unwanted files on the server. We also have no guarantee for this!

And another question:

- Why is it not possible for admin to exclude moderators from accessing the member database?

- Why hasn't such an option been created in user group settings for this?

It is easy to place a "bug" in the app and then request access to fix this when the app is purchased. It is easy to place a "bug" in the app and then request access to fix this when the app is purchased and or downloaded for free.

What control does the PHPFOX team have on this?
