Store Community Support Documentation

we should really have an option to hide custom fields at the user level. For example, we create custom fields so the user can have a more "detailed" profile information rather than just the boring "basic info". But there is no way to hide these fields except to remove your inputs or make your profile completely private.

For example, the user wants a detailed profile (custom fields) but he only wants to display those fields to his "friends". At the same time, he wants his feed/wall to be public. Currently, this cannot be done.

The only workaround is to place all custom fields in the "basic info" location, and then use the "can view your basic info" privacy setting to restrict them to "friends only" while leaving your wall open to the community.

There should be a privacy setting "can view your custom fields" or "can view your detailed profile informaton" or something like that.

This is a pretty basic feature that should be standard.
