I have purchased two of these licenses and can't use either one since the Knowledge Base article system isn't that smart as it only searches titles of the articles which is totally useless.

But I see you fix that problem on your own site back in early 2018 but still have not upgraded the app.  Just wondering if you are going to upgrade anytime soon so we can use that app as you do.

Here is an example of YouNet Demo site for the app that we all get and it does not search correctly.

We will now attempt to search for the word "guidance"

 

 

This is the results we get for a single word search which is located in the first article listed.  The current price for this software is $69 according to there ad listed right next to the "No article found."

 

 

Now if you go to there site which indicates it was put up in early 2018 and using the gettingstarted app according to the URL.

Now here is the first article and we are going to search for the word "Console"

 

 

Here are the search results for the word "Console"

 

Not only did it show the first article but it also found console in three additional articles.  If only the app they gave us worked as good as what they made for themselves.  Here are the links to each article and you can check for yourself, the word "Console" is in each article.

I have started going through the apps and so far within the first 30 minutes of basic usage, I have found bugs in apps that have been around for several years.  I need some acknowledgment that if I find these bugs you will fix them before 5.0 comes out otherwise I will just hack them myself and say nothing and your products will not improve.

Thank you for the update.  Hoping someday, phpfox will do the same type of search for the forums here and their phpfox app as well.  Searching just titles leaves a lot of content unseen.

Metro, I am hoping you are just kidding and just feeling a little spunky.  In regards to the search, and that they don't know how to fix it.  Well, I already proved it above that they do have it fixed and are currently been using it on their site for a while now.

Hoping that while they test the app for 4.8 they will add the few lines of code to search the description field as well.  I have so much faith in them I am going to buy a third copy of this app knowing it will be the only option we have for a FAQ app.

Look how good this looks and the search works perfectly.  Although, no one noticed that the first filter drop down box consist of only one option (Latest) so that is a useless options when there is only one available.  Guess they forgot Most Viewed and Featured options in the code :)

I could be wrong, but currently, the search statement only includes searching the title field.  So hoping this one additional line of code doesn't take several months.  If so, could you please post the code here so we can add it ourselves because currently, this program has not worked correctly for over five years.

younet don't improve their apps.  they make existing apps compatible with latest phpfox version but no improvements.  They keep realsing new apps but no improvements to existing apps or bug fixes.

Sorry, everyone.  I have decided to step away from the forum until YouNet fixes this issue.  It is coming on two months since I pointed this out and I am not spending several hours a week of my time helping people for phpfox when phpfox/Younet fixes software for there own site but don't update it for their users.  This should have been fixed a long time ago as it's one of the main functions of the app....searching.

Coming up on three months on an app that they already fixed but seems like they feel the fix should not be given to the users for months upon months.  Priorities people...see you in another month I guess.
